How to Activate SBI Net Banking Online

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Access the SBI Net Banking Portal

– Navigate to the official SBI net banking website.

– Click on the “New User Registration/Activation” link.

Note: If you have already received a Pre-Printed Kit (PPK) from your branch to activate the Internet banking (INB) facility, do not use this link. Instead, enter the user ID and password provided in the PPK on the regular login screen.

2. Initiate New User Registration – Select “New User Registration” from the drop-down menu and click “Next.”

– You’ll be directed to a registration form.

3. Fill in Your Details – Enter your account number as mentioned in your passbook.

– Provide your CIF number, branch code, country, and registered mobile number.

– Choose the type of Internet Banking facility you need: Full Transaction Rights or Limited Transaction Rights/View Rights. – Enter the captcha code and click “Submit.”

4. Verify OTP – Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click “Confirm.”

5. ATM Card Verification – If you have an ATM card, select the ATM Card option and click “Submit.” – Note: If you don’t have an ATM card, your branch will activate Internet Banking services for you.

– You’ll be redirected to a Debit Card Validation page. Enter your ATM card details and click “Proceed.”

6. Create a Username and Password – Generate a permanent username. – Create a login password with a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Re-enter the password to confirm and click “Submit.”

7. Registration Completion – Your registration is successful. You can now log in to SBI internet banking services with your new username and password.
